Grand Finale & Announcement of Winners, Bryan Dawe
Bryan Dawe is one of Australia's finest political satirists. He has enjoyed a long career on radio, television and film. On ABC radio with his much loved characters Sir Murray Rivers QC and Roly Park's letter From Kalangadoo.
On television he is best known for his work with fellow satirist, John Clarke, on the '7.30 Report' sending up the nation's politicians, and for his role in the much acclaimed ABC Television series 'The Games'.
He also appeared in various films including the hit Australian film 'The Castle' and also 'The Honourable Wally Norman', amongst others.
Bryan is a long term advocate of reconciliation between white and black Australians. He is Chair of Common Fate which supports the aims of indigenous elder and the group's patron, Pat Dodson.
