The New Tech Schools: How they relate to industry and jobs
Marc Blanks is the Executive Director of the Banyule, Nillumbik and Whittlesea Tech Schools with Melbourne Polytechnic. The Tech Schools are tech enabled innovation hubs for young people in partner secondary schools. He has worked across the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors of education. He has held a variety of roles in DET Victoria in the North Western Region and Central Office. Marc has worked as a classroom teacher, coach, lecturer and principal, assistant principal and as a director of a kindergarten cluster. He has a particular interest in linking real world learning through industry and community partnerships, learning environments and digital technologies.
